Infectious Thoughts

The following conjectures are based on two premises:
a) The recent stock market declines (precipitous declines yesterday and today) are pricing in a dire outcome in the near future.
b) The useful idiots in Atlanta who occupy the maze known as the CDC are now telling us to anticipate disruptions.

Clearly, it is time to stock the pantry with dry goods and become antisocial for a spell. Are they preparing us for bit parts in a Michael Crichton thriller? Expect newsreaders to begin intoning viral news from studios in undisclosed locations. The news-bimbos are currently being fitted with designer facemasks. You wanna bet?

I hope I’m wrong.
