MarketWatch admits to, "time honored media practice," of fudging numbers!
MarketWatch for the first time reported jobless claims in raw or actual figures, foregoing the time-honored media practice of using seasonally adjusted numbers. The seasonal adjustments have overstated jobless claims by several million and are less relevant given the nature of a once-in-a-century pandemic.
