Snow What?

The National Forecast Map is a product of the Weather Prediction Center of the National Weather Service. Two maps are produced daily, day and night.

The maps below are of the earliest autumnal forecast of rain and snow for the contiguous 48 states and adjacent Canadian provinces from 2016 to 2021. Though not actually in autumn, I call them autumnal because they come after a snow-free summer hiatus. The NOAA, possibly afraid to use the "S" word (snow) for political reasons while the Global Warming hoax defines the narrative, changed "rain and snow" to "mixed precipitation" beginning with the PM forecast map for 1 April 2019.

Who were they trying to fool?

As you can see, the unmentionable snow came two weeks early this year. This does not yet establish a trend, but a two week difference is significant.
